We accept 5 yrs old and up for our lessons, as we feel that horseback riding is an excellent learning experience at every stage of life.
Each lesson consists of a 1/2 hour of instruction and a 1/2 hour trail ride to test what you have learned. $65 per person (taxes included)
We have a variety of horses, all with unique dispositions and riding styles! We encourage our students to ride all the horses of Fallbrook, and learn how to handle them all. The more horses you ride the better you will become! For those just starting out, we have horses that are very easy to control, so the rider can focus more on themselves than on the horse. Likewise, for those who are comfortable with riding and are looking for a challenge, we have horses to fit that need!
Our lessons are structured around eight horsemanship levels that are designed to build knowledge, experience and confidence in dealing with horses.
Join us every Saturday for our Western Riding Club and learn all about horses and horsemanship. Experience what it's like to own a horse, what's involved in taking care of them, the best way to train them and how to keep them happy!
Spend a day with us for only $90/person (taxes included).
The Western Riding Club program runs every Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Our program is geared towards teaching people what they need to know to maintain and care for a horse. They learn about proper feeding and grooming, how to keep a horse healthy, controlling a horse effectively from the ground and from their back, and with the assistance of a "buddy" they take part in many of the daily tasks that keep a horse ranch working! Each day there is an opportunity for 1 lesson and 1 ride on the trails, and members work towards completing their riding achievement levels.
